M/V Non-Fatal Accidents measure the number of non-fatal traffic collisions reported to the Police Department, which may result in both civil and criminal penalties. The actual number of traffic collisions in a community, including minor accidents, is typically significantly higher than the number of reported incidents. Traffic collisions are a major quality of life concern, as they often result in environmental stress, noise, pollution, property damage and injuries.
