From Understanding Greater New Haven

Welcome

Welcome to the DataHaven Community Knowledge Center. This center's goal is to support community governance by increasing the accessibility of public knowledge, policy analysis and related data.

The Community Knowledge Center will help citizens and policymakers draw connections among complex issues such as health, early childhood education, civic vitality, smart growth and youth development. When presented at both the regional and neighborhood level, increased access to information can help facilitate grassroots action, grant writing and evaluation.

For example, within our Understanding Your Neighborhood pages, we are working with citizens to build a comprehensive, multi-sector resource about every city, town and neighborhood within the Region.
