[Excerpt] "A recent DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey that interviewed Connecticut residents on their quality of life, health and happiness included responses from 200 Plainville residents. Results show that, by far, most Plainville residents are happy with where they live.

"Overall, 17,000 residents of Connecticut participated in the survey that will be used “to strengthen collaborations between dozens of organizations and agencies that are working together to measure social progress and improve population well-being at the statewide and local levels,” said Mark Abraham, executive director of DataHaven.

“It provides an important window into resident perceptions about strengths and weaknesses in the community,” Williamson said. “Planning bodies will find it valuable as a means to communicate to residents more directly about services offered.” DataHaven will provide detailed statewide and local results of the survey over the coming weeks."
