| Mark Abraham, Executive Director |
Mr. Abraham is responsible for the management and development of DataHaven, and for delivery of its multiple products and services in support of civic research, planning and action. Mr. Abraham's professional career has included positions as a planner with the New York City 2012 Summer Olympic Games Bid Committee, as Director of Marketing for the New Haven architecture firm Svigals and Partners, and as Associate at the New Haven consulting firm Holt, Wexler & Farnam, LLP. Mr. Abraham graduated from Yale University with honors in the Architecture major and was a finalist in the 57th annual Westinghouse/Intel Science Talent Search. Mark serves as a New Haven Historic District Commissioner and as a Board Member of Elm City Cycling. He has received the New Haven Environmental Justice Network's Annual Award in 2008 for coordinating the New Haven Safe Streets Coalition, and a Business New Haven Rising Stars Award in 2010.

| Mr. Speirs is the Data Analyst for DataHaven in New Haven, Connecticut. His responsibilities include managing data sets, data development, database architecture, accuracy, maintenance, and documentation. Mark is a graduate of Temple University's School of Environmental Design with a Master of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning. His undergraduate degrees are in Information Technology and Economics. Professionally, Mark's most recent position was as Research Associate at the Center for the Study of Economics in Philadelphia. There he was responsible for the collection, verification, and collating of the center's data as well as maintenance and design of the organization's database. His accomplishments include spearheading the evaluation of Altoona, Pennsylvania's 10-year tax-structure implementation study and partnering with the Manhattan Borough President's staff and the New York City Department of Finance to develop models of land use and tax alternatives. |
